Lancashire Junior Merit - 26 June 2011

Liverpool CC U18 Competition - 26 June 2011

To be held on Sunday 26 June at Liverpool CC, Aigburth Road, Grassendale L19 3QF.  Start time 11am, with the green being open for practice from 10am.  2 age groups – 7-13 and 14-18, 32 entries each group.  Prize money £100 each group – trophies for winners and runners up. £1 entry fee to be sent to :

Lathom & Burscough League U18 Merit - 24 July 2011

This is to be played on Sunday 24 July at Hoole Village Hall Bowling Club starting at 1.00 pm.

John Hulley Olympic Bowling Festival, Formby RBL - 24 September 2011

The London Olympics provides a once in a lifetime opportunity to build on Liverpool`s rich olympic history and to continue the visionary dreams of JOHN HULLEY, 150yrs after the first olympic games was organised in Liverpool in 1862. This will be achieved through creation of several events being organised in the build up to and during our olympic year that will enhance social inclusion, opportunity and unity for young people and, in supporting these events, leave a lasting legacy for many years to come. 
In addition to other events for young people, we are playing the first ever Junior Crown Green Bowling Festival under the John Hulley Olympic Festival Vision. on Sat,Sept,24. at Formby R.B.L. Bowling Club. start time 10-30am.

Derek Barnes is especially interested to know of any players in the 7-10 yrs age group who may want to enter and if there is anyone in the 11-15 age group interested you will go on a reserve list with a good chance of playing.  Refreshments, buffet and BBQ will be FREE and there will be trophies and medals for competitors.  Tombola, raffle and off green games also on offer.  Contact Derek Barnes on 01704 876 939.
